My mother is Persephone and my father is a mortal British man who works as a Tailor to the rich and famous. He wanted me to take over the family business, but when I started to realize who on this earth I was, he took me to Camp Half Blood. Living with my British father my whole life forced me to develop his accent. I am one of the only ones here with an accent other than American. I don't go near the cabin of Hades' children. I hate each and every one of them.

My father named me for his brother who died a week before I came into existence 'Mason' meaning 'works in stone', 'Gavyn' meaning 'white hawk' and 'Owens' meaning 'young fighter'. Well he only got one right. Young Fighter. I'll be turning nineteen in three weeks, not that I expect people to remember. I've been here for two years. When I left England, I left behind my friends and my partner in crime Vidette. She was my one and only until I came here. I didn't even get to tell her goodbye.

Since my mother is Persephone, I have inherited little bits of her personality, including a need to take care of plants. But that's not my power, that'd be a letdown to say the least. If there are dead plants in the room I can will them back to life, sounds boring, but if you watch the flowers go from gone to blooming again, its actually quite beautiful. I can also bring the dead back to life for a few short minutes. The time grows longer each time I do it. It takes alot out of me to use that power. I often have to rest for a couple of hours after using that one. I can only say that life is a beautiful thing that should never be taken for granted. If that doesn't convince you, I don;t know what will.

Some say I have an unhealthy obsession with the way the world is falling apart. The earth is falling into chaos and I don't like it. I can sometimes feel my mother chastising me for not wanting the earth to fall, but I can't help it. There's too much death and destruction to ignore the fact that one day everything will be gone. Plants. People. It will all be gone, and I want to make sure that doesn't happen. I also apparently have a bit of a temper. Sometimes I just can't help it and something small will make me upset and then all it takes is a daughter or Son of Hades to say or do something and I'll be at the end of my very very short fuse.

Callum Blue
I am 6 ft, and 220 pounds, making me tower over the shorties in the camp. I am very slim so most of my weight is muscle I've had to build up over time. My eyes are sort of a blue grey color that I inherited from my fathers side of my family. My nose and lips are apparently my mothers. I have a scar on my left wrist running lengthwise, making it look like I tried to commit suicide. I didn't actually. I mentioned earlier that my father was a Tailor and the boxes of shoes he has in his shop are actually very very heavy and one day I lost my footing, dropped one and it sliced through my wrist creating a very realistic looking suicide attempt scar. The only birthmark I have is the one on the sole of my right foot. Its a pretty standard one in the shape of sort of a wonky circle.

Well for the past couple of years the only thing I've been able to do is tend to the gardens attached to the kitchens and help there, but back when I lived in England with my father I helped him in the shop. It was called 'George and Sons'. named for my fathers father. The only real attributes I received while working for my father was the ability to size a man for pants as soon as he walked into the room. It's not the most helpful ability in this setting but it is something I can do.
